PT Danmar Explorindo has 3 Dexdrill models available for use in a variety of mineral exploration projects. Each drill rig is customisable, allowing clients to customise the drill tips and other features to adapt to any project. These man-portable knockdown drills can reach remote and rugged areas without the need for road development. Every drill rig is also accompanied by a wellsite geologist, to ensure that good geology remains the guiding principle in implementing the drilling program, reviewing and storing core samples, and data collection and interpretation.
Our Dexdrill 200 rig is capable of digging core HQ diameter holes up to 150 metres, making it ideal for the mineral exploration of coal, nickel, bauxite, and relatively shallow ore deposits.
One of our projects with PT Hengjaya Mineralindo in Central Sulawesi uses the Dexdrill 200 for nickel exploration, where they have drilled over 13,000 holes for a cumulative depth of 326,381 metres.
The Dex 350 model of Dexdrills is capable of reaching depths up to 200 meters using HQ coring equipment, making it perfectly suitable for relatively shallow coal, base metals, and gold.
The Dexdrill 350 was used on a coal exploration project in Bengkulu, involving drilling 204,986 metres across 2,999 holes in rugged mountainous terrain.
The Dexdrill 700 is our largest drill rig with a 700-metre depth capacity, it is particularly suited to evaluating coal deposits for underground mining potential and complex gold and base metals projects.
Currently, it is being used for a proposed underground mining operation in Kota Baru, South Kalimantan.
All of our drill rigs are deployed from our workshop in Bengkulu. With an in-house staff of 9 welders, fabricators, and mechanics, our Bengkulu team is equipped and ready to customize and assemble new drills before each project, as well as repair wear and tear and refurbish drill pipes and bits if needed, with a centrally-located service center and warehouse that allows for easy deployment from Sumatra.
